1-Year Build Warranty
1-Year Build-Only Limited Warranty
These are the terms of Vantra LLC’s standard 1-Year Build-Only Limited Warranty, which applies to the van camper conversion build completed by Vantra for the Customer (“Build”). Each customer receives a signed copy of this Warranty with their build. The signed copy is the governing document for that Build.
1. Warranty Coverage
Vantra provides a limited warranty for a period of one (1) year from the date of final delivery of the completed Build (“Warranty Period”).
This Warranty covers defects in workmanship related solely to the camper conversion work performed by Vantra.
Covered items may include, but are not limited to:
- Cabinetry and built-in furniture
- Interior panels and finishes
- Installed electrical system components (excluding vehicle systems)
- Installed plumbing components (excluding vehicle systems)
- Mounting and installation of appliances and fixtures
Vantra will, at its discretion, repair or replace any covered item found to be defective due to workmanship during the Warranty Period.
2. Build-Only Warranty: Vehicle Excluded
This Warranty is strictly limited to the camper build only.
This Warranty does NOT cover:
- The vehicle itself, including but not limited to engine, transmission, drivetrain, suspension, brakes, steering, chassis, body panels, factory wiring, or vehicle electronics
- Any mechanical or electrical vehicle systems
- Pre-existing vehicle issues or failures
- Manufacturer warranties on the vehicle or third-party components
3. Exclusions & Limitations
This Warranty does NOT cover:
- Normal wear and tear
- Cosmetic changes, fading, or discoloration
- Damage caused by misuse, abuse, neglect, improper maintenance, or failure to follow operating instructions
- Damage caused by accidents, collisions, water intrusion, fire, theft, vandalism, or environmental exposure
- Damage caused by overloading the vehicle or exceeding manufacturer weight limits
- Modifications, repairs, or alterations performed by anyone other than Vantra
- Customer-supplied parts or materials unless otherwise stated in writing
- Appliances or components covered under a separate manufacturer’s warranty
4. Customer Responsibilities
To maintain warranty coverage, the Customer must:
- Use and maintain the Build in a reasonable and intended manner
- Follow any care, operation, and maintenance instructions provided by Vantra
- Promptly notify Vantra of any suspected warranty issue
5. Warranty Claim Procedure & Repair Location
- All warranty claims must be submitted in writing during the Warranty Period.
- The vehicle must be delivered to Vantra’s facility located at 141 Division Drive, Suite 100, Wilmington, NC 28401 for inspection and repair.
- All warranty work must be performed solely by Vantra, unless prior written authorization is provided.
- The Customer is responsible for all transportation, delivery, and pickup costs related to warranty service.
Any repairs or alterations performed by a third party without Vantra’s prior written consent will void this Warranty.
6. No Coverage for Consequential Damages
To the fullest extent permitted by North Carolina law, this Warranty does NOT cover loss of use, loss of time, travel expenses, lodging, towing, lost income, or any indirect or consequential damages. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
7. Limitation of Liability
Vantra’s total liability under this Warranty shall not exceed the original cost of the camper conversion build paid by the Customer.
8. Transferability
This Warranty is transferable one (1) time only, provided that:
- Vantra receives prior written notice of the transfer
- The transfer occurs within the original Warranty Period
- The Build has not been modified or repaired by anyone other than Vantra
Upon transfer, the remaining portion of the Warranty Period applies to the new owner. No extensions are granted.
9. Governing Law
This Warranty shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of North Carolina.
10. Entire Warranty Agreement
This document constitutes the entire warranty agreement and supersedes all prior oral or written representations. Any modifications must be in writing and signed by Vantra.
This Warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
